Direct flight time from the UK to Bergerac is one hour and 20 minutes; other flight times will vary.  It is approximately 20 minutes’ drive from Bergerac Airport to Bardouly.  Taxis and rental cars are available at the airport.

Flights to Bordeaux Merignac (BOD)

Every major airline flies daily from the UK and Europe to Bordeaux.  Flight time is approximately one hour and 30 minutes.  Taxis and rental car companies are available at Bordeaux Airport; the drive to Bardouly takes one hour and 30 minutes.  There is also an easy link from the airport to the Bordeaux train station.  See Rail section below.

By Rail

The train from Waterloo International London to Paris Gare du Nord takes two hours.  Transfer to Gare Montparnasse in Paris to take a two-hour fast train to either Bordeaux or Libourne.  Change at Bordeaux or Libourne to a Bergerac train.  The train journey to Bergerac station takes one hour and 30 minutes.  It’s a 20-minute drive from the Bergerac station to Bardouly.  Rental cars and taxis are available at the Bordeaux, Libourne and Bergerac train stations.  There is a train station in Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) with direct trains to Bordeaux and Libourne.

By Car Ferry

The Car Ferry (Brittany Ferries) are available from Portsmouth to Saint-Malo or Caen.  It’s a seven-hour drive from Saint-Malo and a nine-hour drive from Caen to Bardouly.

Travel from the United States/Canada and other parts of the world

Fly to Charles de Gaulle, then transfer to a flight to Bordeaux (daily flights, from a different terminal at CDG).  The flight from Paris to Bordeaux is just over an hour.  (See Air and Rail sections above for options by train or taxi from Bordeaux Airport to Bardouly.)  If stopping in central Paris take a fast train from Gare Montparnasse to Bordeaux or Libourne.  Then take a train to Bergerac station or a car directly to Bardouly.  See Rail section above for details.

Fly to London.  Spend the night in London, then take the 12.15 Ryanair flight from London Stansted to Bergerac.  The flight is one hour and 20 minutes.  Bergerac Airport is approximately a 20-minute drive to Bardouly.  Rental car companies are available.
